FRIDAY RACE NIGHT - EQUIPMENT HIRE Hire fees: 'Bike Hire' - You are hiring Bike only - $3 'Helmet & Gloves' - You are hiring Helmet & Gloves only - $3 'Kenny Helmet' - You are hiring Helmet & Gloves only - $3 - Please ensure you select the correct sized helmet Please carefully choose a bike to suit your rider's age. If you select an incorrect sized bike, you may be unable to correct it come training/race day. Hire Terms: First Paid, first choice policy. When nominating for racing, add the hire bike number as your race number. Please don't ever take the bikes from the club rooms without a committee member present. Please have your hire bike receipt ready to show the committee member. Please return all equipment in good order to the SAME position and report any maintenance issues to a committee member. We kindly ask you not to remove the hire bike number plates, and please do not place your personal plate over top. If you have a transponder, you are able to cable tie it to the forks, but please remember to remove it before returning.

2024 KBMX Championship Series *'New Riders' = If you are new to the club and have not raced yet, please enter using New Riders event - so you can enter all required information needed for racing. *'Current Riders' = You have raced already this season, please enter using the Current Riders event - setup for quick easier rego's. Step 1 - Register to race every week - Rounds will be added into the events sections to register for racing each week.  https://kbmx.tidyhq.com/public/schedule/events REGO INFO Information you will need for online rego, Riders' first and last name. You will need to register to race each week, online regos will close Friday afternoon at 5pm.  If you have registered online here you do not need to attend the rego window on Friday night. REGO FEE  - $10 per rider for Age Class & Sprockets  - $5 per rider for Mini Wheelers & Pedal Mini Wheelers - $2 per rider if racing 2 classes (Must pay for one full age class first) DIVISIONS All age riders are placed into divisions from an average of their race times. If you have a special request or any concerns with regards to your rider's division please come and speak to the rego team. He's back again!! Matt Blake returns to Karratha as the World #5!! Get ready for the final round of the NWSS - perfect those gates, race lines and corners. $50 / rider - one session Saturday and one session on Sunday (1.5 - 2hrs each session) New parent rider session - 1hr on Sat only - $25 / rider. Groups and times will be released closer to the date.

2024 NWSS - Volunteer Roles

A well run NWSS round, relies on lots of volunteers - so we need your help! Each volunteering spot is split into two sessions (Moto 1 - Moto 3 and then Moto 4 - Finals) so you only need to volunteer for half a day and still get time to sit and watch races. Below is an overview of what is required of each volunteering position: Gate Starter - someone who has previous experience with this role.  First Aiders - current first aid qualification required. Assess and assist fallen riders on track. Volunteer Ambulance Officers will also be in attendance on the day and are available as back up for assessment and treatment of more serious injuries. Bottom Stager - calls out riders names and gates for each race at the bottom stage. Ensures consistent flow of riders to top staging. Communicates via radio with rego and top stager if riders missing or late. FINALS - liases with riders regarding gate selection. Top Stager - checks riders and gates, notifys Rego if a rider not in attendance. Keeps riders quiet at gate during racing. Yellow Flag - raise flag to notify others of a fallen rider on track. Rubbish Maintenance - ensure litter is collected and disposed of correctly. Swapping bins over to ensure no overflow or mess. Facilities Maintenance - ensuring the toilets remain tidy, have enough loo paper, soap etc. There will be transportable toilets over the other side of the track so this will include the normal ablution block as well as the transportables. Volunteer Assist - ensure that our volunteers and officials are well looked after - run water and offer assistance if needed. Raffle Table - sell raffle tickets at raffle table. ALL ON TRACK VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR CLOSED IN SHOES and a yellow vest (provided by the club). Canteen volunteers are being managed seperately by Tash Wheelock and Ash Morrison - please look out for posts from them calling for volunteers and/or liase directly with them if you are able to help in the canteen. We appreciate everyone's contribution towards the club and our riders and can't wait to see all the Karratha riders do us proud at our NWSS round!
