Karratha BMX Club is excited to introduce something new for our riders — a specialised Elite Coaching Weekend running alongside our upcoming Come Try Day weekend.
We’re proud to welcome experienced BMX coach Paul to the club for a full weekend of structured rider development, offering both exclusive 1:1 coaching sessions and small group coaching opportunities for current KBMX members.
This weekend is designed to support riders of all levels who are looking to improve confidence, build race skills and gain valuable feedback heading into the season — particularly those working towards State and National competition goals.
Paul will also be actively involved around the track throughout the weekend, supporting riders during Come Try Day activities, engaging with families and helping build a strong development culture within our club.
Friday 6th June
• 1:1 Coaching Sessions
• 1 hour on-track riding + 20 minute personalised feedback session
• Sessions commence from 7:00am
• Final riding session concludes at 4:40pm (feedback completed by 5:00pm)
• Riders and families welcome to stay on for Try Night from 5:30pm.
Saturday
• 2–3 Small Group Coaching Sessions
• Perfect for riders wanting structured coaching in a relaxed group environment.
Sunday
• Additional coaching sessions (1:1 or group depending on demand).
• 1:1 Coaching Session — $65 per rider
• Group Coaching Session — $25 per rider
This is the first time KBMX has offered structured 1:1 coaching opportunities for members. It’s a unique chance for riders to receive personalised feedback, skill development and mentoring from an experienced coach — something rarely available in regional clubs.
We’re excited to trial this initiative as part of growing rider development opportunities and giving back to the future of the sport.
